Our corporate social responsibility initiatives reflect this philosophy, blending heritage, care, and sustainability into every effort we undertake.
Environmental Stewardship

In early 2024, we brought this vision to life through a large-scale tree-planting initiative in the mist-kissed highlands of Maskeliya, a region of Sri Lanka celebrated for its natural beauty and rich biodiversity yet vulnerable to deforestation and soil erosion. Investing over LKR 3.5 million, our senior management and executives joined hands as active stewards of the environment, planting hundreds of indigenous trees with care and attention. These included Wana Rakshana and Beheth Nelli, species valued for their medicinal properties, their ability to attract pollinators, and their crucial role in preserving biodiversity. Each sapling was chosen for its potential to enrich the soil, safeguard water sources, reduce carbon emissions, and provide food and shelter for wildlife for generations.
The planting process was carried out with meticulous attention to sustainable forestry practices. From preparing the soil to ensuring proper spacing and root protection, every step was designed to give the trees the best chance to thrive. Our commitment extends beyond planting, with ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure that these trees continue to benefit the environment and local communities for many years.
Community Care & Relief
Our dedication to community care has been equally important. In 2016, following devastating floods during the monsoon season in Galle, Enrich funded the construction of a new home for a family whose house had been destroyed. This home included bedrooms, a sitting and dining area, sanitation facilities, and an electricity connection, offering safety and dignity to those affected.
During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, we provided low-income families, particularly daily wage earners, with dry rations and essential groceries. These efforts reflected our ongoing commitment to sharing resources and supporting vulnerable communities during times of crisis.
Empowering Future Leaders
In 2023, we extended our social responsibility to education and skill development by creating specialised training programmes for school students interested in product manufacturing and business management. These initiatives provided hands-on experience and practical knowledge, nurturing future leaders and empowering young minds to become innovators and entrepreneurs.

For Enrich, corporate social responsibility is a journey that intertwines environmental stewardship, community care, and educational empowerment. Each project, whether planting trees, building homes, providing essential aid, or nurturing future talent, embodies our commitment to uplifting the world around us. With more initiatives in the planning stages, we look forward to expanding our impact each year, nurturing the land beneath us and fostering hope for a greener, more resilient tomorrow.
